Dollar General's Paystub System: DGme

Dollar General uses an employee self-service portal called DGme for all paystub access. Every active associate — store, distribution center, or corporate — uses the same portal regardless of state or pay frequency.

DGme is reachable from any browser, including from home. No corporate-network requirement.

How to Log Into DGme

1. Go to dgme.dollargeneral.com
2. Click Sign On
3. Enter your DG Employee ID (7-digit number on your name badge or in your hire paperwork)
4. Enter your password
5. Complete 2FA if prompted (SMS or DGme authenticator)
6. From the dashboard, click My Pay in the left menu
7. Click Paystub History
8. Select the pay period and click Download PDF

The PDF will show Dolgencorp LLC as the legal employer (Dollar General's corporate name), with your employee ID, store number, hours, earnings, taxes, and YTD totals.

First-Time Login Setup

New associates: your default password is the first 4 letters of your last name in lowercase + last 4 of SSN + birth year (last 2 digits). Example for John Smith, SSN xxxx-xx-1234, born 1990: smit12349 0.

You'll be forced to change it on first login.

Dollar General Pay Schedule

• Frequency: Bi-weekly (every two weeks)
• Pay day: Friday
• Total: 26 paychecks per year
• Direct deposit: Available Friday morning
• Pay card alternative: Dollar General offers a Money Network pay card for associates without bank accounts

Paystubs are posted to DGme 1–2 days before payday so you can preview before the deposit hits.

How to Get a Dollar General Paystub After You Quit

DGme access is suspended on your separation date. Options for former associates:

Option A — Reach out to your former Store Manager

SMs can print historical paystubs from the store's manager portal for up to 90 days after separation.

Option B — Call DG Employee Service Center

Hours: M–F, 7 AM – 9 PM CT

Provide: Employee ID, last 4 of SSN, DOB, store #, separation date

They'll mail or email paystub copies within 5–7 business days.

Option C — Money Network App

If you were paid via Money Network card, the Money Network Mobile App retains pay statements for 24 months under Documents → Paystatements.

Option D — W-2 reissue

For very old stubs, the IRS Form 4506 lets you request a copy of your W-2 (which Dollar General filed) for any tax year in the last 10 years.

Common DGme Issues

"I'm locked out of DGme." Use the Forgot Password link. The reset email goes to your personal email on file. If that's outdated, call 1-855-275-3447 to reset.

"I don't have an Employee ID." Check your last paper paystub, your I-9 paperwork, or ask your Store Manager.

"DGme won't load." Clear your browser cache or try Chrome/Edge in incognito mode. The portal doesn't fully support older Safari versions.

"My paystub shows zero hours." You may be viewing a period before your hire date — switch to the prior pay period. If multiple periods show zero, contact your Store Manager.
