Param Dubey ("we," "us," or "our") operates MileTrack, a mobile app that helps you log vehicle mileage for tax deduction purposes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. MileTrack calculates deductions using U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) standard mileage rates and is intended for use by taxpayers filing U.S. tax returns; if you are located outside the United States, the deduction estimates shown may not apply to your local tax rules.

Account information (name, email address) when you sign up. Trip data you create, including start/end times, distance, and the classification you choose (Business, Personal, Medical, or Charity). Location data collected only while a trip is actively being tracked, used solely to calculate distance and, if you choose to correct an address, to look up nearby places. Basic device information for troubleshooting and app improvement.

We use your data to calculate trip distance and estimated tax deductions, generate the mileage reports you request, keep your account secure, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

MileTrack only accesses your location while you have manually started a trip and the app is open in the foreground, or when you manually search for or correct a start/end address. We do not track your location in the background or when a trip is not active.

Your account and trip data are stored in a secure cloud database with row-level security so that only you can access your own records. Data in transit is encrypted.

We use secure cloud services for authentication and data storage, and RevenueCat to manage subscription purchases and billing (RevenueCat receives purchase and device information needed to process a subscription, not your trip data). To turn GPS coordinates into a readable address or driving route, we send those coordinates to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service and the OSRM routing service — free, no-account map data providers that do not receive your name, email, or account identity. We may also offer Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google as login options; these providers process limited data (such as your email) solely to authenticate you.

You may request deletion of your account and associated trip data at any time by contacting us at paystubllc@gmail.com. We retain data only as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations.

If you are a California resident, you may request access to, deletion of, or details about the personal information we hold about you, free of charge, by contacting us at the email above — we do not sell personal information. Wherever you're located, you can reach out to the same address to ask what data we hold or to have it corrected.

MileTrack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app.
